Playing favorites

I have been super busy at work this week just getting back to the office from vacation so I haven't had much time to get into the kitchen. In lack of baking I wanted to showcase some of my favorite things food-wise.

Pizza. It's clearly not the healthiest food to eat a lot of but I find that my boyfriend and I more often than not make pizza for dinner and/or always just want pizza. With this fact on hand, it bums me out that I COMPLETELY forgot to post about this awesome spot in Denver we went to. It was just called 'The Pizza Place' but they had the best sauce I've ever tasted.

We've also been lacking on getting groceries so the other night we went to some sketch ass pizza joint also called 'The Pizza Place' on E Main St down by our house. I'm just going to go out on a limb here and say I never thought the day would come when I would find TWO places I like better than Mary Angela's.

I'm a pretty big fan of anything mini. It's easier to toss in my purse on my way out during the day and they're kind of cute. Matt brought me a case of these home a week or so ago and whether or not I like to admit it, I'm a huge snacker so these babies are great.

Joe's. I've already talked about Joe's but it will always be my favorite go-to spot. We grabbed lunch here yesterday. I stuck with my classic club sandwich, no mayo and Matt got a steak sub. I never leave here unsatisfied.

For some reason or another, I just did not want to cave in and try these cookies when my boy and I were travelling regardless of how many times he tried to get me to eat them. BUT WHAT THE HELL. These are so insane and it's almost a terrible idea that Matt has them at his work and brought home two boxes last night. Biscoff "the airline cookies." If you have no idea, do some research. I plan on trying to come up with my own version of these just to see if I can. They are the perfect coffee accompaniment. Or by themselves. (I had them for breakfast this morning.....)

Matt came home two nights ago with a recipe he is stoked to try for dinner tomorrow night so as of then I'll be back up and running with most recipes! Have a great weekend.
